Played “Journey” yet? You really should…

I downloaded thatgamecompany’s newest title “Journey” last week and I have to say…I can’t stop thinking about it. While short, it’s already made a huge impression and I know I’m not the only one who thinks that. It’s a radically different and fresh approach to gaming as a whole…and I have to say, I’m excited to start it back up again. Austin Wintory’s score is absolutely awesome. Using live players and orchestra, the score really takes the game to a whole new level. Right now, you can snag it on the PSN or iTunes and a CD is rumored to be forthcoming. It’s easily one of my favorite scores of 2012. I don’t want to give anything away, but if you like thought provoking games, using the Hero’s Journey model with a really cool use of multiplayer (if you really can call it that) then head over to the PSS and download it. You’ll not regret it.

Speaking of games, I really need to jump back into “Skyward Sword” and actually kick off “Skyrim!” LOL. Less TV I think…might be a good plan!

In other news, my website was hacked last week! Don’t worry…you’re safe! The random (and very sneaky) redirect went invalid pages which makes me (and Josh) think the servers are long gone…which is good! But everything should be back up and running now.

Finally, I think it’s time for a new picture in my About section. That one’s getting a little old…let’s see what I can come up with!
